Last Friday was my school's sports day event. I was anticipating for the day to come. There are two types of games- baton race and hockey race. Since I could not complete the baton race, my teacher asked me to go to the hockey team. In that team, the event was just as difficult as baton. But to me it was a piece of cake.On that day, we had 30 minutes of recess. We used to have 20 minutes of recess but they extended the recess due to the P2s' race. I saw my mother and sister turned up during recess, they were there to cheer for me. Soon it was the P3's turn. The baton race started first. My friend and I were cheering for my class to win. My class got the 4th position. Misery was written all over their face. I felt sorry for them because they had been training very hard.
Minutes later, it was our team's turn to go, we wished each other good luck and set off for the game.We waited quite some time before the game started. "Preet!!" the game started in no time. Ling Yun was the first to go. We screamed our heart out. Miss Tan, our form teacher was very excited and she was running next to the participant giving words of encouragement. As my turn was drawing near, I was nervous and fidgety. You see, I don't usually do well in sports and running is my achilles' heel. However, I managed to finish the course.
Finally the game ended. I heaved a sigh of relief. We were in cloud nine when the Mcee announced that our team is the first to finish the game. We were each awarded a gold medal. I hope this is not my first and last medal. I want to thank Miss Tan for all the effort she put in.

There are lots of blog that I have read. One that I like most is called www.scott-soresu.blogspot.com. It is from my friend Raymond. He is Rita's brother. His blog is very nice. There is a banner saying that he is a Portsmouth fan. He is very handsome and charming. His cursors and banners are very nice so be sure to visit to his blog! He writes like a secondery school boy. I feel that he is an intelligent boy. The blogs he write are so perfect that you can't find any mistakes or errors. The next blog I am going to talk about is www.spy3a.blogspot.com which is also my class blog. There are over seventy blogs posted and all of them are very interesting. Of course it is done by my fellow classmates. Some of them only posted one or two journals. You will see that Sabrina, Constance and Fahmi did the most journals. Sabrina posted to most number of journals. Her English is very good. No wonder she is one of the highest English scorers in my class. Constance's journal is rather hilarious. She likes to exaggerate things. Her funniest journal is The Attack Of The Insects. Fahmi is a science expert. His journals are all about science facts. He reads up lots of science books. His science knowledge is very updated. I also write many journals in my blog. Doing journal is a relaxing thing. So if you write very little journals, do more!

Today was suppose to be my swimming lesson. It was raining at that time. My mother thought it was only a drizzle. But while we were in the taxi, it began to rain cats and dogs. I kept muttering to myself, it is only a short downpour. But I was wrong. When I reached Woodlands Swimming Complex, it was raining twice as heavy. The ticketing machines were closed due to the rainy weather. People were waiting for the rain to subside. After a while, my swimming instructor, Uncle Jerry, told us that he had to cancel this lesson. Upon hearing that, I my heart sank into my stomach. I asked my mother to let me swim at least. She allowed me to do that but only if the rain has completely stopped. The rain did subside after a while. But soon it began to rain again. I was getting impatient and forced my mother to buy the tickets from the customer service. She refused because she said that it was still raining. I begged and begged her to buy the tickets but she was adamant. So I have to wait. An hour past, I was getting restless so I decided to go home instead. It was drizzling then. While walking home, we saw a group of elderly men playing Chinese chess. I watched them play. They played as if it was an international championship. When they played, their facial expressions were very tense and every move they need to predict and contemplate. My mother played along and she predicted the move and she was right. The old man who won the game gave my mother a grin. I wanted to join in the game but the sky was getting dark so we had to head home immediately. Even though I did not go for my swimming lesson, I still enjoyed the moment at the void deck seeing the two elderly men playing chess.

A few days ago, the famous Australia crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, was pierced in the heart by a stingray. The news appalled me. Usually stingrays are very gentle. I wonder what cause it to attack Steve Irwin. He was just swimming above it. Some say he was trying to antagonize it. I am very sure he was doing no harm to it. There was once, he carried his baby while taming a crocodile. That was a very dangerous act as he could get his baby killed. However he is a man of courage too. He joined this show and got killed in the end. His fans where very sad to see him die. Since he is an animal lover, his funeral was held in the Australia Zoo. People put flowers, cards out side his doorstep. His manager said that the recording of pulling the stingray barb would be destroyed because it was very gruesome. Right now the police are still investigating the case.15 year old Raffles Institute GEP boy Zhi Hao died from high fever. The doctors said that he was just having a high fever. His parents said that he was not a bookworm. He was a normal boy who is an avid soccer fan. His parents reported that he had blood phlegm , coughing and perspiring. They rushed him to the nearest clinic but it was closed. So they rushed him to another clinic. The doctor there sent him to Changi Hospital. But he still could not survive. His teachers classmates all came to his funeral. Doctors have no explanation what type of virus is that. I feel very sad because such a bright boy deserves to live longer.

Yesterday was teachers' day. Actually I was in the concert but due to my robotics my sister had to take over me. Oh well, at least her piano skills were better than me. That morning when I woke up my mind was whirling with excitement because I wanted to watch the performance. When I reached school, I went to the hall late so that I will wait shorter. After we took our pledge, I was impatient for the performance to start. Unexpectedly, we were told to go to the back of the stage for robotics meeting. Halfway through our meeting, the show started. But luckily there were some problems with the micro-phone and they had to stop the concert for a few minutes. I heaved a sigh of relief because I wanted to watch the whole performance and didn't want to miss even the introduction. The performance turned out nice.Three days ago, I had my grade 4 piano exam. It was raining that time. I had my exam at a music studio Allegro. When we reached there, the staff was chatting on the cellphone. My mother stood up to sign the exam form but the staff asked her to sit down. That is so bad. I mean she should be doing her job. After about 15 minutes she was still chatting on her cellphone. I was getting anxious because I did not want to be late. After a few minutes, she stopped chatting and asked for my ez-link card. I gave her my ez-link card. She led me to the examination room. I begin to feel butterflies in my stomach. The examiner is an amicable man. I played my exam piece with my best effort. After my examination, I was filled with relief. I am confident that I can pass with merit although I got distinction for my grade1, 2 and 3. But since grade 4 is a higher grade so if I can pass with merit, it will be considered very good to me and my family.
